ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS OF USE. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Website. Access to and use of the Website are subject to your acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these Terms of Use, do not access nor use the Website.
We may modify these Terms of Use from time to time in the future. We will inform you of any modification by the way of specific warnings on the Website. You will be required to accept said modification of these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any modification of these Terms of Use, please cease accessing and using the Website.

These Terms of Use’s scope is limited to their purpose as defined herein and does not alter nor modify any other agreement you might have with Balenciaga or its affiliates.
PRESENTATION OF BALENCIAGA INTERNSHIP- SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Starting in 2020, Balenciaga will provide two six- months intership-scholarships per year to gift student from partnering fashion schools with limited industry exposure. Students will be selected to receive internship applications based on tutor nominations. Tutors may send nominations (five to fifteen, depending on class size) and written recommendations to Balenciaga. Students may only apply in their final year of study (either in an undergraduate or postgraduate course) or immediately after graduation. All applications will be assessed by Balenciaga’s Artistic Director and Design Director. Balenciaga will announce the scholarship recipients one month after the application deadline, giving the winners at least two months to prepare for working abroad. Balenciaga is solely entitled to define the rules and process of application for internship- scholarship and reserves the right, at any time, to amend or adapt its internship- scholarship program.
PRESENTATION OF THE SERVICE. The Website is the platform by which selected students will submit their application for design internship- scholarship at Balenciaga. Selected students applying for internship must perform the full process of application on the Website and provide any information required to have their application assessed.
ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE - REGISTRATION. In order to access and use the Website, you need to register by entering a code, an email address and a password. Please make sure to keep this code/email address/password confidential. Any access and use of the Website with your code, email address and password will be deemed as initiated by you. In the event that you become aware of any misappropriation or unauthorized use of your code/email address/password or of any use of the Website made under your code/email address/password, you will immediately inform us in order for any proper measures to be implemented.
RESTRICTIONS. You are not authorized to (i) to make available to any third party, either directly or indirectly, the Website and/or its content or any portion thereof except to other duly authorized users of the Website and through the Website; (ii) to extract or re-use the content of the Website, in whole or part, under whatever format or media ; (iii) circumvent any measures protecting or restricting access to the Website.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. For any question regarding intellectual property, please refer to the Intellectual Property Policy [LINK]. Any access and use of the Website is subject to your acceptance of the Intellectual Property Policy.
AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE. The Website is normally accessible 24/24h, 7/7j, save any interruption, programmed or not, for the purposes of its maintenance or a force majeure event. We shall not be held liable for any damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting notably from a final or temporary downtime of the Website, of an issue related to the response time while using the Website or of any performance defect of the Website.
LIABILITY. We make all reasonable efforts to make the Website accessible at all time, but it cannot warrant that it will be continuously available or without defect. The Website and its content are made accessible on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranty nor representation that the Website and its content will be uninterrupted, timely, or default and error free nor that they will be accurate, up to date or reliable. PRIVACY. When you access, use the Website and submit your application, your personal data may be collected and processed. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more information. Any access and use of the Website is subject to your acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
SEVERABILITY, NON-WAIVER. The provisions of these Terms of Use are severable and if any of the provisions hereof are held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, in whole or in part, they shall be severed and deleted to the extent required and the remaining provisions shall remain enforceable. Failure by you or Balenciaga to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
GOVERNING LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION. These Terms of Use are governed by French laws. Except otherwise provided under relevant imperative legal provisions which may be applicable to you, any dispute regarding the validity, enforcement and performance of these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris (France), Balenciaga reserving however the right to petition before any other competent court.
